Welcome to Where2. By accessing or using the Where2 mobile application or website (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

1. Who We Are

Where2 is an app that facilitates venue discovery and bookings by linking users to venue profiles, social media pages, and booking platforms. We do not directly manage or control the services provided by venues listed on the Platform.

2. About These Terms

These Terms govern your use of the Platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered through the app. Additional terms may apply to specific features or promotions, which will be clearly presented when relevant.

3. Creating and Managing Your Account

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You may register using:

  • Your email and password.

  • Third-party services such as Gmail or Outlook.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account login details confidential.

  • All activity that occurs under your account.

By uploading content (e.g., photos, posts) to the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You own the rights to the content or have permission to share it.

4. Using the Platform

You may use the Platform for:

  • Discovering venues and accessing venue profiles.

  • Making reservations via third-party booking links.

  • Sharing positive experiences through our Community Feed.

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for illegal or harmful purposes.

  • Post or share defamatory, offensive, or misleading content.

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Platform.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account.

4.3 Venue Information

Where2 provides venue profiles and links to external booking platforms. However, we do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy of venue information (e.g., opening hours, availability).

  • The quality of services provided by venues.

You are encouraged to verify details directly with the venue before making bookings.

5. Booking and Interactions

5.1 Third-Party Bookings

Bookings made through the Platform are processed via third-party platforms linked on venue profiles. Where2 is not responsible for:

  • Booking confirmation or cancellations.

  • Refunds or disputes related to reservations.

5.2 Links to External Platforms

Where2 provides links to external websites, including social media pages and booking systems. These external platforms are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

5.3 Reporting Issues with Venues

If you identify incorrect or outdated information about a venue, you can report it via the "Report" button on the venue profile. Our admin team will review and address reported issues.

6. Community Feed and User Content

6.1 Positive Community Feed

Where2 offers a community space for users to share positive experiences about venues they’ve visited.

  • All posts are subject to moderation and approval before publication.

  • Posts that do not meet our positivity guidelines will not be approved.

6.2 Guidelines for User Content

By posting content on the Platform, you agree to:

  • Share truthful, respectful, and relevant information.

  • Avoid uploading offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content.

  • Refrain from sharing negative reviews or complaints on the Feed.

Where2 reserves the right to remove or decline any content that violates these guidelines.

7. Location Services and Maps

The Platform uses location data to:

  • Recommend nearby venues based on your current location.

  • Display venues on an interactive map.

Consent for Location Services: You may enable or disable location tracking via your device settings. Disabling location services may limit certain features of the app.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Ownership

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Where2 or its licensors.

8.2 User Content

By uploading content, you grant Where2 a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content within the Platform.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

9.1 Limitations of Liability

Where2 is not liable for:

  • Inaccurate venue information or errors in third-party booking systems.

  • Losses or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform.

  • Content uploaded by other users on the Community Feed.

9.2 Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to ensure accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the completeness or reliability of content.

10. Termination of Services

Where2 may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms or applicable laws.

  • Your actions harm other users or the reputation of the Platform.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

Where2 reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the Platform or email, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
